R.C.C.I PUBLIC SCHOOL & COLLEGE,RANGPUR In January, 1996 the School was set at an hired building in Central Road, Rangpur initially Nursery to class Five were opened. As far as possible the best teachers were recruited for the teaching of the students. The first principal was a Doctorate degree holder. However, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rangpur bought .87 acres of land with its own resource at a beautiful place just a far long off to the east from Government Begum Rokeya College, Rangpur. It is now situated at a beautiful place by the south side of Begum Rokeya Road, East Shalbon, Rangpur, Bangladesh. The place is also solitary, shun off the noise of town, suitable for academic atmosphere. The academic performance of the school and college is very satisfactory and creditable. Primary School Certificate (P.S.C) and Junior School Certificate (J.S.C) examinations are held annually by the Ministry of Mass and Primary Education and Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh. The students of class Five and Eight can take part in this examination respectively. Every year a good number of students of this institution of class Five and Eight obtain scholarships.
